Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 April 2026

These terms govern your use of agent-ready.dev (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t, please stop using the Service.

1. The Service

agent-ready.dev scans websites you provide and reports on how readable they are to AI agents. Scans fetch public pages of the target site, parse their content, and produce a scored report. Results are shareable via a public URL unless we introduce private scan mode in a future release.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Scan a site you don’t own or have permission to scan, in a way that would breach the site’s terms of service or cause operational harm.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, or access controls.
  • Submit URLs that point at private networks, cloud-metadata endpoints, or other internal infrastructure. The Service rejects these at the network layer, but attempting to do so is prohibited.
  • Resell, sublicense, or expose the Service as your own without a separate written agreement.
  • Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, typically without notice.

3. Accounts

You’re responsible for keeping your authentication credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Plans, payment, and refunds

  • Current plan pricing and inclusions are listed on our pricing page. We may change pricing at any time; existing subscriptions continue at their current rate until the next renewal.
  • Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or via the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
  • Refunds- if you believe you’ve been charged in error, email support@agent-ready.dev within 14 days of the charge. We will review each request on its merits. Outside of statutory rights, refunds are at our discretion.
  • Consumers in the UK and EEA have statutory cancellation rights under distance-selling regulations; these override the above where they apply.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not offer a formal service- level agreement. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may introduce, change, or retire features at any time.

6. Your content

You retain all rights in any URL or content you submit. By submitting a URL you grant us a limited licence to fetch the target pages, parse them, and store the results for the purposes of running the Service.

Scan results may be displayed publicly via share URLs. If you need a scan to remain private, don’t share the URL.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We’re not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you’ve paid us in that period or US$50.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, death, or personal injury.

Australian Consumer Law preservation - nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement. Where we are entitled under the Australian Consumer Law to limit our liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee in respect of services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having the services resupplied.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your authentication settings; we will receive a deletion event and remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may terminate your access where you materially breach these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when. For material changes affecting paying customers we’ll notify account holders by email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia, except that consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence where required by law.
